Al terzo tentativo, le autorità hanno riconosciuto il movimento del Copismo (Kopimism) come una religione a tutti gli effetti.
Di cosa si tratta? Il nuovo credo è basato sulla copia. Avete capito bene. Sulla copia di qualunque cosa. Informazioni, musica, arte. DVD, CD, USB, Blue Ray, qualunque cosa. Per i Copisti, l'informazione, il dato, è sacro, e la sua moltiplicazione un sacramento.
La nuova religione è nata un po' come una provocazione nei confronti dell'industria dell'intrattenimento e delle lobby che sempre più spesso fanno pressioni sui governi affinché approvino proposte legislative liberticide, che allo scopo di combattere la pirateria online finiscono col calpestare diritti fondamentali e privacy di tutti gli utenti di internet. La nuova chiesa si sta nel frattempo diffondendo in tutto il mondo, gli adepti sono migliaia. Servirà tutto ciò a combattere le lobby del copyright? Non lo sappiamo, ma in Svezia la copia di meteriale protetto dal diritto d'autore rimane comunque illegale. A questo punto non ci rimane che pregare:
