Ian Murdock, fondatore di Debian Linux, rinvenuto cadavere nella propria abitazione

Ian Murdock, fondatore della storica distribuzione Debian Linux, è morto in circostanze misteriose la notte fra il 28 e 29 dicembre 2015. Il corpo senza vita è stato rinvenuto nella sua abitazione di San Francisco. A distanza di una setimana le cause dela morte non sono ancora state chiarite. Si parla di suicidio, un’intenzione manifestata dal defunto sul proprio profilo Twitter, dal quale emerge un confronto con le forze dell’ordine, intervenute in seguito ad un alterco coi vicini di casa, che lo avrebbero picchiato e molestato sessualmente, sempre secondo quanto da lui dichiarato. Il suo profilo Twitter, e le relative accuse, sono scomparse, ma di seguito potete leggere i suoi ultimi post:

Da quanto si legge, le accuse nei confronti delle forze dell’ordine sono pesanti, ma il modo di scrivere appare piuttosto alterato, in alcuni tratti non sembra nemmeno essere lui, o quantomeno non essere in sè. In attesa delle indagini, possiamo solo rilevare il fatto che egli abbia annunciato sia la propria intenzione di suicidarsi (strano che nessuno della sua cerchia sia intervenuto per accertarsene), che di spiegare in modo esauriente quanto capitatogli, cosa per altro non avvenuta. Anche in questo caso si possono fare solo ipotesi: il desiderio di suicidarsi ha prevalso su quello di spiegare i fatti, oppure qualcuno ha pensato di “suicidarlo” prima che potesse parlare?

Comunque, ciò che è certo è che le circostanze riguardanti la sua morte erano e rimangono misteriose.
